Job Description:
Themerox is looking for a dedicated and skilled SEO Specialist to join our growing team. As an SEO Specialist at Themerox, you will play a key role in improving our websites’ visibility on search engines, driving organic traffic, and implementing effective SEO strategies. You’ll work closely with the content and marketing teams to optimize website performance and ensure our products rank high on search engines, ultimately driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- SEO Strategy Development: Create and implement effective SEO strategies to improve website ranking and visibility on search engines like Google, Bing, etc.
- On-Page Optimization: Perform on-page optimization, including keyword research, meta tags, headings, content optimization, and URL structure.
- Off-Page SEO: Build and manage off-page SEO strategies including backlink building, guest posts, and influencer outreach.
- Content Optimization: Work with content teams to ensure that the content is SEO-friendly, well-structured, and aligned with keyword research.
- SEO Audits: Conduct regular site audits to ensure that SEO best practices are being followed and identify areas for improvement.
- Analytics & Reporting: Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs to track performance, generate reports, and provide insights on SEO performance.
- Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitors’ SEO strategies and implement changes to outperform them.
- Stay Updated: Keep up to date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and digital marketing best practices.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven SEO Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in SEO, preferably with a focus on WordPress websites.
- SEO Tools: Expertise in SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Moz.
- Technical SEO: Solid understanding of technical SEO elements, such as site architecture, sitemaps, robots.txt, canonical tags, structured data, and more.
- On-Page & Off-Page Optimization: Hands-on experience with on-page SEO (content optimization, keyword targeting, etc.) and off-page SEO (link building, outreach, etc.).
- Keyword Research: In-depth knowledge of keyword research tools and how to implement them into SEO strategies.
- Content Strategy: Experience working with content teams to optimize for SEO and increase user engagement.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with WordPress: Familiarity with WordPress and SEO plugins like Yoast SEO or Rank Math.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with E-commerce SEO and platforms like WooCommerce.
- Familiarity with technical SEO, including schema markup, page speed optimization, and server-side SEO.
- Understanding of local SEO and Google My Business (GMB) optimization.
- Knowledge of PPC or Google Ads and how they complement SEO efforts.
- Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO) and user experience design.
