ThemeForest offers two types of licensing –
- Regular License
- Extended License
Regular License
The regular license allows you to use the theme in only one domain. You can also use the theme on multiple subdomains of that particular domain too. For example –
- www.yoursite.com – Valid
- yoursite.com/staging – Valid
- staging.yoursite.com – Valid
- anything.yoursite.com/directory – Valid
- localhost – Valid
- xyz.com – Requires a new license
- staging.xyz.com – Requires a new license
- 121.122.123.122 – Requires a new license
Extended License
An extended license allows you to activate the theme on any domain and local or staging environment.
